A beautiful day in the neighborhood

So it’s been a few days since I’ve written. I’ve been unmotivated to dictate to this lovely lj the goings in my life. I guess stuff has happened but I just feel like its just a cycle of the same stuff. Whatever…things are going fine and I should be happy about that. Anyway, I’ve visited my parent’s house for the last time before they move to the new place next month (which looks great). I also ran a 10-mile race and 5k (yeah 7 minute miles!!). Should find out in about a month whether November 7th will be the day to put my body through 26.2 miles of hell:p That being said, I am building up a lot of vacation time and I will need to use this. I need to figure out what I want to do and where to go. I need a vacation but I’m thinking after the marathon to somewhere warm and fun. Really my only requirements.

So what else. Oh yeah I saw Little Shop of Horrors and Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway. Last Thursday I came in and my boss asked me if I wanted to go to Fiddler and a networking thing because the marketing person couldn’t go. Apparently, I was dressed nice and was the prime reason I was asked over others. See it pays to dress for success! I also wore my hair back because it is 95000 degrees out and everyone thought I looked really good with it back. ::done patting self on back::

Other news…my ipod had the defect occur. You know…the thing that they were talking about on the news…where you get static noiseL So sucks. Good thing is I got the box from apple on Monday and sent it back Tuesday…they received it today so I should have it back in my hands tomorrow or Friday! The irony is my Ipod case arrived yesterday..after I sent the ipod back.

So I can't think of anything else now...quite a storm on display outside right now!
