Hmm so again I neglect on entries.  Oh well.  In between then and now some stuff has occurred. For instance, another occassion of the opposite sex playing the role of jerk, working ridiculous hours, and Halloween.  I've noticed that Halloween never seems to get old...I think it's the whole idea of being able to remember youth.  Then add to it the fact that I live in a city that could probably be Halloween all year round and well...yeah.  I met up with a friend for dinner tonight and while walking around he sees someone and goes "is that a costume or do you think that's their normal attire?" Honestly, I didn't know because I didn't notice the person until it was pointed out to me:0)

Work has been uaofihiuafhfdhfda.  It's gone from "frick...where's the work?" to "what the heck do I do with all this work?"  Which all in all is a good thing but it just works us to the bone!  Ended up managing to get my stuff done in time to enjoy the Halloween party at work....chocolate chip cookie cake with a chocolate fudge/moose topping rules!

Running! The one subject that has been a staple in the LJ for the past few months.  My training is done. Complete.  All that is left is just that small task...26.2 miles;0) ::note sarcasm::  Last weekend I did a couple loops of the park...nothing fancy just 14 miles. This weekend I did a small part to try and get the jitters out.  I ran the last 9 mile segment of the marathon route.  This is from the 59th Street Bridge up to the Bronx and back to the park.  Saturday I did from my apartment to the Bronx and back.  Sunday I did the park portion.  It really was a bit surreal to realize that this was a dress rehearsal for the real thing.  While I was running the finish portion of the route today in the park, I was able to think about what a great feeling I'll have next week. If you would have said to me just a couple years ago, that I would move to New York City and run a marathon within a year and a half....I would have laughed in your face!  I guess I've learned I have a lot in me...and never count me out. I can do it! Oh and for those that are counting at home...the stats...for the month of October: 154.1 miles and 801.56 miles since I started counting back in March! I'm wondering if I can hit 1000 for the year?

I did other stuff but I really don't remember anything of importance.  Fun times were had

Carbing up this week...if you don't want the carbs, send them to me!  Oh and don't forget to vote November 2...even if I don't agree with your choice, it's important to get out there and cast your vote.  With that I'm hoping the following holds true:
"If history holds, the 28-14 result portends a victory for Kerry on Tuesday because the result of the Redskins' final home game before the presidential election has always accurately predicted the White House winner. If the Redskins win, the incumbent party wins. If they lose, the incumbent party is ousted."

Thank you and goodnight
