I'm leaving today
I want to be a part of it
New York, New York!

Are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it
New York, New York!

I want to wake up in a city that doesn't sleep
ANd find I'm king of the hill
Top of the heap

These little town blues
Are melting away
I'll make a brand new start of it
In Old NEW YORK

IF I can make it there
I'll make it ANYWHERE
It's up to you NEW YORK, NEW YORK!

New York, New York!
I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps
And find I'm a number one top of the list king of the hill a number one
These little town bluessssss
Are melting awaaaaaaaaay
I'm going to make a brand new start of it
In old New York!!!!!!

I'm going to make it anywhere
It's up to you
New York New York!!!!!

For those of you that don't know, it looks as though the job search is about over. I am going to be extended an offer from major engineering consulting firm early next week. It also means I will be moving to NYC!!! You have no idea how excited I am...I have always dreamed of living in a big city. It's just so exciting to be able to live it and feel it and see it. The city is just fun to be part of...now I know some people say "nah I couldn't live in a city". But for me, it's a dream coming true. Ever since a trip to London, England in 11th grade I realized how awesome it would be. I mean just everything is there...so many different people. Experiences that can't be had anywhere else. So to anyone that is elsewhere, COME VISIT ME!!! NYC is a great place to visit!!!

By the way for those of you still waiting on jobs...follow up on any interviews you have had. It pays off. Both my roomie and I did that...ended up getting the jobs.

Sorry for the lack of entries...it's been hellish the past few weeks between school and job shit. I'm so hoping this offer is good and I can be done:-D Then let the slacking really begin.
