Yes its true. I find myself always being a fan of the so called losers. But hey anyone can cheer for the winners right? And they're not losers I cheer for...just the heart attack teams. They seem to find new ways to break my heart every year! Go Red Sox and Cubs...how great would that World Series be?

First things first though...a Sox/Yankees series...oh that should be great now that I live in NYC... I'm thinking I shouldn't wear my Red Sox visor to the bar;-)

Oh and kudos to McNabb for not blowing the whole idiot Limbaugh comment out of proportion. Everyone knows Limbaugh is an idiot that will say things out of context and to the right...really trying to be impartial here...
Anyway, here's the comments:
"I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well," Limbaugh said. "There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve. The defense carried this team."

Do I disagree with his comments anyway? Absolutely! McNabb may not be the greatest qb in the league...but he definitely makes a HUGE impact on the team. Considering he's been about 60-70% of the offense the past few seasons....Id say without him they'd be in big trouble. Besides that, had he stopped at McNabb being overrated, there would have been no issue. Sure it would have stirred up the general conversation of disagreeing but it would have been left at that. I see what he is trying to say but I think he forgot he was on ESPN, not FOX or his FAR RIGHT show. He's right at the fact that many times media tries to make something out of anything. However, we live in a world that is very sensative about this...like it or not. I think that's the easiest way to skate that line;-) ESPN is also at fault here...why the HELL was he even on the show in the first place? Ratings? Probably. However, they KNEW he would say something to rile up controversy whether it be warranted or not. In this scenario I honestly think a lot was made of something small...I mean think of it this way...he said something stupid which is nothing out of the ordinary. His whole media life is made out of creating controversy!! McNabb came out of this as should be...quiet.

Thanks for listening to the democrat in me:-D

Meanwhile the Eagles have won 2 straight including a big division win vs the Redskins. Bring on the Cowboys!
